before the artificial plants, the center had an empty planter box that had been built into the wall, instead of going through the hassle of getting fresh plants to maintain, the center opted for artificial plants with no maintenance required.

Looking much nicer after installing some artificial plants. These plants give a very nice contrast in colour against the pale blue wall, and provide something nice to look at as you are entering the center.
